Description
This image shows a student working with cloth and wood in the Art Department at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in mid to late 1970s. Originally part of the Division of Applied Arts, the Art Department was one of the first departments at Appalachian State, and is now housed under the College of Fine and Applied Arts. It includes concentrations in clay, drawing, fibers, metals/jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.
