This image shows the Industrial Arts Club float riding in the Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) Homecoming Parade in 1965. A float designed to look like a mountain with a graduate on the top with degree titles written in black lettering along the sides. It is seen traveling down King Street in Boone, NC. Homecoming was an annual event that included dramatic performances, a parade, a dance, a football game, reunion activities, and the crowning of the Homecoming queen.
