This image shows Kidd Brewer at the dedication ceremony for Kidd Brewer Stadium at Appalachian State University (1967-current). The stadium was originally built in 1962 as Conrad Stadium. It was rebuilt in 1979, and renamed Kidd Brewer Stadium in 1988. Kidd Brewer was the former head coach at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) from 1935 to 1938. He resigned to pursue a career in business. This image appears in the Fall 1988 edition of the "Board of Governors Quarterly" (p. 14).
