This image shows D. S. Coltrane, Mrs. Kemp Doughton, and Tom Doughton at the dedication ceremony for Doughton Residence Hall on June 12, 1966, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). Doughton Hall was originally a women's dormitory, built in 1963, and held 300 students.
