Daniel Boone Theater, circa 1955

This image shows the outdoor Daniel Boone Theater from the rear. The theater was built in 1952 and located in Boone, NC. It is the location for the annual performance of the "Horn in the West." This photograph was taken by John A. Pritchett, director of the Audio-Visual Center and university photographer for Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the 1950s.
