Description

This image shows a class being held at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). A teacher stands in front of the chalkboard, holding a book, while students sit at desks on the left. The students appear to be from Appalachian High School, the demonstration school taught by Appalachian State teachers and students from 1925 to 1965 in Chapell Wilson Hall, built 1938. The calendar on the door reads, "February 1956."
