Description

This image shows a woman giving a demonstration with the aid of a poster, entitled, "Keeping My Word" and a display of SRA Booklets in the Audio-Visual Center at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). The poster also reads, "Why should I keep my word? Why should other people keep their word?" The sign at the bottom of the poster reads, "National Forum Guidance Series." The SRA Booklet display reads, "SRA Booklets to help solve problems of everyday living." The Audio-Visual Center was located in the Education Building, built 1925, and provided technical assistance as well as educational films for students and teachers. This image was taken in the mid-1950s.
