Description

This image shows Chapell Wilson standing in front of a brick building at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). Wilson received an AB degree from Wake Forest in 1920 and an MA from George Peabody College for Teachers in 1930. He taught education and psychology at Appalachian Training School (1903-1925) from 1922 to 1925, served as director of the Demonstration Schools at Appalachian State Normal School (1925-1929) and at Appalachian State Teachers College, and served as the first dean of Graduate Studies.
