Description

This image shows a student standing by a board holding several light bulbs, switches, and a fuse box in one of the classrooms at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). The display was used to demonstrate the effects of correct and incorrect wiring in a 4-H Club presentation on how to correctly wire a series of circuits together. Appalachian State's Department of Mathematics and Physics included several classes on electricity, magnetism, and light.
