This image shows members of an unidentified student organization at Appalachian High School (1938-1965) working an overhead projector in a classroom in Chapell Wilson Hall, built 1938, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). Sign on the top of the projector reads, "One mile to Tampa." Appalachian High School was a joint venture between Appalachian State Teachers College and Watauga County Schools, wherein Watauga students would be taught by Appalachian State faculty and students. It was housed in Chapell Wilson Hall.
