This image shows the members of an unidentified student organization at Appalachian High School (1938-1965), sitting in the auditorium in Chapell Wilson Hall, built 1938, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). Appalachian High School was a joint venture between Appalachian State Teachers College and Watauga County Schools, wherein Watauga students would be taught by Appalachian State faculty and students. It was housed in Chapell Wilson Hall. On the far right of the second row is Dr. Roy Blanton, Department of Education.
