Description

This image shows three members of the Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) Mountaineer football team, standing next to coach Preston Mull on College Field. Standing second from the right is Ray Morris, who attended Appalachian State from 1952 to 1956. College Field was located south of the Administration Building, built 1924, approximately where Rankin Science Hall was later built in 1963. The image was taken in the early 1950s.
