This image shows members of the Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) Mountaineer football team positioned on College Field. The image was taken in the early 1950s. The Men's Gymnasium, built 1934, is visible on the right. College Field was located south of the Administration Building, built 1924, approximately where Rankin Science Hall was later built in 1963.
