Description

This image shows one of the commencement speakers standing behind a podium on stage in the Broome-Kirk Gymnasium, built 1955, during the spring commencement at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) on May 25, 1958. A stack of degrees rest on a table next to him, and the choir can be seen in the background on the right. Commencement included a speech by Charles F.
