Students on Sidewalk, 1958

This image shows students walking on the sidewalk leading between the D. D. Dougherty Library, built 1935, on the right, and the second Administration Building, built 1924, on the left, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). The mostly female students are dressed in coats and scarves, carrying books. The picture was taken during the winter of 1958 after a snowfall. This image appears in the 1958 Rhododendron (p. 83).
