Description

This image shows senior Sarah Richardson showing junior Claude Savage the depth of a snowfall in January 1958 at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). They are seen standing by a tree in "Three Coins" Park, located between the Administration Building and the Women's Gymnasium, both built in 1924. The snow measurement was five inches. The second Administration Building can be seen in the background. This image appears in the January 30, 1958, edition of "The Appalachian."
