Commencement, 1981, ambassadors

This image shows three student ambassadors sitting during the commencement ceremony at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in May 1981. Commencement was held in the Varsity Gymnasium, built 1968. The Student Ambassador Program started in 1977. Ambassadors gave campus tours and hosted alumni events.
