This image shows three attendees of the commencement ceremony at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in May 1978. Three men pose in a room in front of a table before the ceremony. Commencement was held in the Varsity Gymnasium, built 1968. Standing on the left is Dr. Richard Parrott, Assistant Dean of the College of Continuing Education. On the right is Mr. Ronald E Terry, Director of Com Services in the College of Continuing Education.
