Description

This image shows the student exhibit celebrating two hundred years of American painting during the Bicentennial Celebrations in 1976. Items are arranged in the display case at the first Belk Library, built 1968, at Appalachian State University (1969-current). This display was part of a student display competition. Sign on the exhibit reads, "American Painting," and exhibit includes copies of paintings done by Americans.
