Bicentennial Display, Belk Library, 1979, photo 1

This image shows the student exhibit celebrating the birthdays of various presidents of the United States during the Bicentennial Celebrations in 1976. Items are arranged in the display case at the first Belk Library, built 1968, at Appalachian State University (1969-current). This display was part of a student display competition. Sign on the top of the exhibit reads, "Happy Birthday," and exhibit includes various pictures and busts of presidents.
