This image shows Harry Hallyburton, president of the Alumni Association, standing behind a floral arrangement of an "A." Alumni officers were elected during the Old Timers Reunion, an annual event that took place at Homecoming each year at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). The Reunion was open to all previous graduates of Watauga Academy (1899-1903), Appalachian Training School (1903-1925), Appalachian State Normal School (1925-1929), and Appalachian State Teachers College.
