Homecoming Game, 1956, photo 3

This image shows the 1956-57 Mountaineers at the Homecoming game played at College Field at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) on October 15, 1956. Onlookers can be seen seated on bleachers to the left, and the Administration Building, built 1924, and the Men's Gymnasium, built 1934, can also be seen. College Field was located approximately where Rankin Science Hall was later built in 1963.
