Homecoming Parade, 1956, Majorettes

This image shows the Homecoming parade at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in 1956. Majorettes can be seen performing in the middle of a street in Boone, NC, in front of a group of onlookers standing to the side. Homecoming was an annual event at Appalachian State Teachers College, including plays, a parade, a dance, a football game, and the crowning of the Homecoming queen.
