Homecoming Parade, 1956, Class of 1930 float, photo 2

This image shows a parade float seen at Homecoming, 1956. The float bears yearbook photographs of the class of 1930, topped with a ball reading "1st BS Degree," with a banner on the bottom, reading, "Class '30 started ball rolling." The class of 1930 was the first graduating class of Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). Two unidentified men stand in front of the float, holding a trophy. This float was judged the winner among Homecoming floats in 1956.
