Class of 1930, Clay Harman

This image shows the yearbook photograph of Clay Harman of Sugar Grove, North Carolina. He attended Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) and graduated in 1930 with a bachelor of science degree. He was a member of the Rankin-Wilson Literary Society, the varsity basketball squad, and Watauga County Club, and served as the senior class historian. This image was reproduced from the 1930 Rhododendron (p. 26) in 1956.
