Description

This image shows Ruth Redmond, accounting clerk in the Purchasing Office in the Office of Business Affairs at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in May 1968. Redmond began working at Appalachian State as a secretary for co-founder and business manager D. D. Dougherty from 1924 to 1929, and later served as secretary for registrars James M. Downum and Herman Eggers, and President B. B. Dougherty (1903-1955).
