Description

This image shows Virginia Linney, professor in the Department of Music at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the 1960s. Linney began teaching music at Appalachian State in 1929 and retired in 1968. She also served as director of the Women's Glee Club, later the University Singers. This image appears in the 1966 Rhododendron (p. 34).
