Mathematics Faculty, Walter Hawkinson, 1965

This image shows Walter Hawkinson, professor in the Department of Mathematics at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in 1965. Hawkinson taught at Appalachian State from 1945 until his retirement in 1972. Mr. Hawkinson was the husband of Ms. Martha Hawkinson who taught in the Department of Business Education. This image appears in the 1966 Rhododendron (p. 33).
