History Faculty, Edward Gibson, 1967

This image shows Edward Gibson, professor in the Department of History at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967), sitting in his office in the 1960s. Gibson began teaching at Appalachian State in 1959. He retired from teaching in 1971 and took the position of international student advisor in the Office of Student Affairs.
