Description

This image shows Theatre Professors David French and Bradford Kinney from the Department of Speech looking at theater plans backstage at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in September 1967. French taught theatre at Appalachian State from 1959 until his death in 1970, and served as director of the Playcrafters, the dramatic student organization. The theatre program was moved from the Department of English to the Department of Speech in 1963.
