This image shows James Duncan, instructor in the Department of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation and football coach at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967), kneeling on the edge of the football field at Conrad Stadium, built 1962. Players can be seen kneeling in the background. Duncan began working at Appalachian State in 1959.
