Description

This image shows the administrative officers of Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in 1963. Four men can be standing behind a desk. Vice-President and Comptroller David Barnard Dougherty (1955-1965), can be seen second from the right, and Administrative Officer Ned Trivette can be seen second from the left. Dougherty served as business manager from 1938 to 1955, and as vice-president of the College from 1955 until 1965. Trivette began working in the Office of Business Affairs in 1956, and became head of the department, later vice-chancellor, in 1965 until he retired in 1990.
