Description

This image shows some students at Appalachian State University (1967-current) protesting outside the first Belk Library, built 1968, in the 1980s. Students can be seen holding papers and standing outside the front of the building. A sign hanging in front of the entrance reads, "Fast for Peace in Central America." Pictured is Dr. Bennett an anthropology faculty member.
