This image shows some students and faculty at Appalachian State University (1967-current) marching to the B. B. Dougherty Administration Building to protest the Apartheid and Appalachian State's investments in South Africa in September 1986. Participants can be seen carrying crosses and signs. The event followed an NAACP Apartheid protest in Washington, D.C., on September 14, 1986.
