This image shows the Majorettes marching in the Appalachian State University (1967-current) Homecoming parade down King Street in Boone, NC, in October 1970. The Marching Band can be seen in the background, and the audience and businesses can be seen on the left. Homecoming was an annual event that included dramatic performances, a parade, a dance, a football game, reunion activities, and the crowning of the Homecoming queen.
