Homecoming Floats, 1964, photo 2

This image shows a float being decorated for use in the Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) Homecoming Parade in October 1964. Two students can be seen painting Greek letters on the side of a float. Homecoming was an annual event that included dramatic performances, a parade, a dance, a football game, reunion activities, and the crowning of the Homecoming queen.
