Homecoming Floats, 1964, photo 6

This image shows students working on floats for the Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) Homecoming Parade in October 1964. Four students can be seen putting tissue paper on a wire figure. Other students can be seen working on a float in the background. Homecoming was an annual event that included dramatic performances, a parade, a dance, a football game, reunion activities, and the crowning of the Homecoming queen.
