Campus Snow Scenes, 1966

Description

This image shows two students walking past Welborn Cafeteria, built 1925, during a snowstorm at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the fall or winter of 1966. Rankin Science Hall, built 1963, and the second Administration Building, built 1924 and destroyed by fire in December 1966, can be seen in the background. A Ford Model-T can be seen parked along the Promenade. This image appears in the 1967 Rhododendron (p. 86).
