Men's Track, 1986, photo 2

This image shows two members of the men's Track Team at Appalachian State University (1967-current) running a relay race at Conrad Stadium, built 1979, in 1986-87. A runner can be seen passing the metal baton to another runner. Another runner can be seen running on the left. Appalachian State's Track Team included distance races, hurdles, and pole vaulting. Conrad Stadium was renamed Kidd Brewer Stadium in 1988. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 330).
