Men's Track Team, 1985-86

This image shows the 1985-86 men's Track Team at Appalachian State University (1967-current) standing outside on the track at Conrad Stadium, built 1979. The coaches can be seen standing in the back row on the left and right. Appalachian State's Track Team included distance races, hurdles, and pole vaulting. Conrad Stadium was renamed Kidd Brewer Stadium in 1988. This image appears in the 1986 Rhododendron (p. 370). Standing on the far left on the third row is Coach Bob Pollock.
