Men's Track, 1986, photo 3

This image shows a member of the men's Track Team at Appalachian State University (1967-current) running a relay race at Conrad Stadium, built 1979, in 1986-87. Some members of the audience can be seen sitting on bleachers in the background. Appalachian State's Track Team included distance races, hurdles, and pole vaulting. Conrad Stadium was renamed Kidd Brewer Stadium in 1988. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 331).
