This image shows a meeting of Appalachian State University (1967-current) professors participating in the Triple-T Project in 1972. Professors can be seen sitting at desks in a classroom at Appalachian State. The Training for Teacher Trainers (Triple-T) Project was a grant-funded program at Appalachian State University to retrain teachers already in the work force, using new methods for teaching teachers with students in actual classroom situations. It was part of a group of educational research projects including the Appalachian Training Complex, the Lighthouse School Program, and the Teacher Corps. Seated on the far right is Dr. Robert Riemann, Department of Geography. Seated next to him is Dr. Thomas Snipes, Department of Psychology. Seated on the far left is Dr. Louie Brown, Department of Sociology and Anthropology.
