Triple-T Project, demonstration, photo 2
Description
This image shows a professor writing mathematical equations on a chalkboard while being watched by three professors and teachers participating in the Triple-T Project at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1970s. The Training for Teacher Trainers (Triple-T) Project was a grant-funded program at Appalachian State University to retrain teachers already in the work force, using new methods for teaching teachers with students in actual classroom situations. It was part of a group of educational research projects including the Appalachian Training Complex, the Lighthouse School Program, and the Teacher Corps. Around thirty Appalachian State professors partook in the project between 1970 and 1973. Second from the left is Dr. Ray Graham, Department of Mathematics.
