Description

This image shows the western side of East Residence Hall, built 1952, at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in April 1977. The sign reads, "University Health Services, Counseling and Psychological Services Center, Testing, Career Center Use East Entrance." East was designed to hold 204 women, with two students per room, but due to overcrowding was later known to hold three to a room.
