This image shows a member of the Alumni Association at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) speaking to the Alumni Association in August 1967. President William Howard Plemmons (1955-1969) and Dean of the Graduate School Cratis Williams can be seen sitting behind the podium. The Alumni Association started in 1934 and met at least once a year during Homecoming for reunions, association business, and officer elections. The man at the podium is Bob Snead, Vice President for Development and Public Affairs.
