Description

This image shows the Charlotte chapter of the Alumni Association at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) meeting in Charlotte, NC, during the 1960s. Three attendees can be seen sitting at tables in a restaurant. The Alumni Association started in 1934 and met at least once a year during Homecoming for reunions, association business, and officer elections. There are currently eighteen chapters of the Association across the country. Seated is Bob Light (Tennis Coach and Basketball Coach - at different times in his career). Seated next to him and on the right is his wife, Pat Light.
