This image shows administrators at a luncheon in Welborn Cafeteria, built 1925, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the 1950s. President William Howard Plemmons (1955-1969), Director of the Audio-Visual Center John Pritchett, and Vice-President David Barnard Dougherty (1955-1965) can be seen sitting at the table in the background. Seated at the head table and just behind the flowers is seen President William H. Plemmons.
