This image shows administrators greeting attendees of an event at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the 1950s. Herbert Walter Wey, head of the Department of Education, and Herman R. Eggers, registrar, can be seen shaking hands with a woman in the center. The man standing next to Chancellor Wey is Mr. Herman Eggers, Registrar. On the far right is Ms. Maxie Edmiston, Dean of Women.
