Description

This image shows President William Howard Plemmons (1955-1969) and Mrs. Elizabeth "Bebe" Plemmons at the dedication of a portrait of President Plemmons in the W. H. Plemmons Student Union, built 1967, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in May 1967. Dr. and Mrs. Plemmons can be seen standing on the right, and five other attendees can be seen sitting in chairs. The portrait is on the wall in the background.
