Description

This image shows students examining fabric samples during a textile course in the Department of Home Economics in the College of Fine and Applied Arts at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1980s. The Department of Home Economics is now the Family and Consumer Sciences Department and provides graduate and undergraduate programs in child development, nutrition, apparel and textiles, and family and consumer sciences.
